Project Overview

Gilded Vow is a fine jewelry digital product currently in active development. Built with Laravel and modern full-stack workflows, the platform delivers an upscale shopping experience with precision metal selection (14K/18K Gold, 950 Platinum), natural diamond specifications, and a multi-currency cart supporting USD, GBP, EUR, and INR.

Engineering Approach

Constructed with a robust variant and pricing engine capable of calculating fine-jewelry prices dynamically based on precious metal weights, purities, and diamond grading specifications.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Architected the backend ecommerce and catalog data modeling in Laravel.
  • Engineered variant matrix systems accommodating metal purities (14K, 18K, Platinum), finger sizes, and diamond specs.
  • Built a reactive shopping cart supporting multi-currency minor units (USD, GBP, EUR, INR).
  • Designed an elegant, luxury visual design system using Cormorant Garamond and Inter typography.
  • Implemented SEO meta configurations, Open Graph tags, and product structured data.
  • Structured the product catalog for future inventory management and payment gateway integration.

Designed a normalized relational schema pairing master product entities with child variants and granular specification attributes.
